Simple is good
Strategy is one of the most over-used words in design. For us, the best design strategies are the simplest. They identify a way to align the communication interests of a business with its brand and commercial objectives.
Whilst many consultancies have their own ‘unique processes’ of discovering creative solutions, we don’t believe any process can replace straight-forward client understanding and a desire to do the right thing.
Yes, we have a five-stage, common-sense method for each project, honed from thousands of design projects. But it comes down to a matter of commitment and attitude. We take the time to develop a deep understanding of our clients' businesses – their unique challenges, commercial objectives and communication goals – then think imaginatively about the way forward.
By keeping things simple, we’re able to deliver award-winning work, attract clients who wouldn’t typically use us, and turn one-off projects into long-term profitable relationships. Simple, really.
Our promise
We aim to produce the right results for our clients, not just ourselves. When given the same information as everyone else, we draw fresh and imaginative conclusions every time – just by thinking differently. We strive to make clients advocates of our work by delivering beyond their expectations. And we aim to be honest and transparent, treating clients and partners as we would like to be treated ourselves.
After each project is complete, we ask our clients to fill out a scorecard. This lets us know how well we’re doing in terms of strategy, design, project management and the overall relationship. We’re not 100% perfect, but we work really hard to fill the gap.
