One day, a group of London traders and residents decided to get together to promote their vibrant high street as a safe, enjoyable public space and a hub for the community. We found it hard not to offer our support.
It was an ambitious project, particularly without a penny to spend on branding or raising awareness of such a good cause.
But where there’s a will, there’s always a way. So we branded the street.
When residents got up for work, and the market traders opened their stalls, Chatsworth Road had been changed – literally overnight. Street signs had been replaced (with prior agreement of course) with branded signage, lampposts were adorned with posters, and a new website went live so people could see what all the fuss was about.
