Shortly after Home Retail Group’s demerger from GUS, Cauldron in conjunction with our friends at SAS, helped them find their true voice through their annual report.
Knowing that investors spend precious little time reading printed reports, and those that do are less than familiar with financial terminology, we took on the challenge of communicating Home Retail Group’s unique retailing strategy as the focal point for their business review.
With the key audiences in mind, we asked the Group’s CEO, Terry Duddy, how he would go about explaining the Group’s core strategy to a non-investment audience. Further message workshops held with key board members revealed that the four cornerstones of the company’s key operational strategy could be explained in quite simple terms.
Our collaborative research fuelled the creative, and the engaging ‘What’s in the box?’ concept set the tone for what turned out to be award-nominated printed and online reports
